DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 lab coat with zipper and pockets is available in white; elastic cuffs; sewn inner seams; offers increased protection for parts of the body that are more exposed to hazardous substances; the shell is made of high density polyethylene, which provides the ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort. Tyvek® is permeable to both air and water vapor, yet repels water-based liquids and aerosols; offers an excellent barrier against fine particles and fibers (up to 1 micron in size); antistatic treatment (EN 1149-1) on both sides; applications include: pharmaceutical handling, chemical protection, lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting and general cleaning, and many more.
